• Is able to demonstrate ophthalmic comprehensive work ups in an efficient manner

What we Seek:

• High School Diploma
• Verifiable experience as an Ophthalmic Assistant; with ability to accurately & clearly demonstrate an ophthalmic workup
• Ability to perform accurate and consistent documentation and measurement tasks including: Visual acuity, Confrontational Visual Fields, Stereo Testing, Evaluation of Motility, Pupillary Function, Color Plates, Applanation Tonometry, Refractometry, Angle Assessment, Optic Nerve; Pachymetry; Corneal Topographyor any testing specific to physician needs
• Certification as a COA or COT (this is not required, but desire to obtain is a plus)
• Willingness to learn to scribe or already have the knowledge and experience
• Prior experience with using an EMR system; Modernizing Medicine/EMA is a plus
