Summary

This position is located in Phoenix, Arizona as apart of the Public Health Nursing department and serves as an Educational Technician responsible for performing a variety of tasks that are supportive of educational activity or program to which assigned.

Duties

• Participates in the development, inventory, maintenance, and dissemination of audio-visual equipment, software, and written education materials.
• Participates in specific program development as a member of a multi-disciplinary team involved in defining objectives for educational materials to be used.
• Participates in the coordination and/or teaches from clearly written lesson plans about subjects that are easily taught.
• Helps with the identification and provision of materials to supplement the classroom health education course.
• Develops educational materials using computer software while working with professional staff to develop the content of the materials.
