    Hotel Night Auditor - Relief Manager

    This is a unique opportunity to join Hotel Bennett as a Night Auditor, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy of front office accounting records. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for summarizing and compiling information for the hotel's financial records.

    We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously, including tracking room revenue, occupancy percentages, and other front office operating statistics. You will also prepare a summary of cash, check, and credit card activities, reflecting the hotel's financial performance for the day.

    The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work well under pressure. They will also be proficient in computer processing systems and have knowledge of computer accounting programs.

    A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required, with a Bachelor's degree preferred. 3-5 years of related experience in a similar role would be advantageous.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Handling the reservation process, welcoming guests, and getting them checked into their rooms
    • Responding to guests' requests and coordinating with other hotel workers to handle necessary end-of-day tasks
    • Accounting duties, including taking payments, reconciling accounts, running end-of-day reports in property management system
    • Spend their shift standing at the front desk, walking around to rooms, and sometimes lifting items
    • Responsible for the overall operations and appearance of the front desk of the hotel
    • Assist with driving valet cars around, for security team to park

    We offer a competitive salary of $45,000-$60,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits.
