    We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to work closely with the Group/Division Finance groups and provide analyses to financial and non-financial personnel.

    In this role you will interact with external auditors and service providers and be responsible for specific elements of the accounting and financial reporting process.

    You will also be doing project and work order setup, invoicing, processing transactions, making judgments regarding appropriate accounting treatment, reconciling accounts, and analyzing account activity.

    Here's what you'll be working on day to day:

    Perform cost analysis and forecasting of site projects
    Assist in the preparation of internal financial statements and other financial statement or general ledger functions
    Generate monthly and ad hoc invoices and validate accuracy against incurred costs or contractual terms

    Perform the following financial analyses:

    departmental expenses vs budget, performance reports with analysis of deviations from plan, consolidated analyses of actuals vs comparable periods and forecasts, comparative cost analysis of procured material versus budget and special ad hoc project analyses.

    Analyze site or program cost trends and provide recommendations for cost savings or forecast updates.
    Track active capital expenditures versus budget and communicate with owners on schedule or unexpected cost increases

    Here's what you'll need to bring with you:

    Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Business, or a Business-adjacent field
    1-6 years relevant accounting or financial analysis experience
    Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
    Excellent analytical, decision making, communication and interpersonal skills to promptly recognize issues and develop solutions
    Ability to be flexible and exercise sound judgment and handle multiple concurrent projects
    Ability to access US export-controlled information

    The base pay range for this opportunity in UT is $73,000 - $119,000 annually.

    The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location.

    Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
