    Job Description

    American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of recent inpatient hospital experience and a current PT license for an acute rehab role.

    Responsibilities
    Inpatient rehab or acute care setting
    Shift is 5x8 hour days, totaling 40 hours per week
    Facility requires a 25-mile minimum distance from candidates' residence
    Crisis Prevention training (TEAM or CPI) required within 6 months of hire
    Role includes comprehensive evaluation, program planning, and administering therapy treatments to patients
    Responsible for creating age-appropriate care plans based on physical therapy assessment
    Accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments is required
    Ability to handle new and changing assignments effectively
    Team-based environment with interdisciplinary collaboration

    Requirements
    Current and active Physical Therapist (PT) license required; no pending licenses accepted
    Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient rehab or acute care experience in a U.S. hospital
    Degree in Physical Therapy required
    AHA BLS certification required
    First Aid certification preferred
    Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) or equivalent required by position
    State licensure and online verification required
    Two managerial or supervisory references preferred from the last 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
    Candidates must have a U.S. Social Security Number for consideration
