Commonwealth Land Trust, Inc.

(CLT) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide affordable housing and supportive services to the most vulnerable individuals and families in Massachusetts in order to prevent homelessness, rebuild lives, and preserve neighborhoods.

CLTs portfolio includes approximately 300 units of single-room occupancy (SRO) supportive, low-income housing and 70 affordable family housing units in Greater Boston.

Most of CLTs supportive housing tenants have some combination of physical disabilities and mental health challenges, addictions, and histories of homelessness.

LOCATION:
Boston with some travel to Lawrence

SCHEDULE AND SALARY:
Full-time, 40 per week including afternoons, evenings, overnights, and weekends. Starting salary is $62,500; with a range to be determined based on education and experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Complete Safety Specialist tasksCommunicate between Safety Manager and Safety SpecialistsEnsure Safety Specialist complianceTravel between various CLT supportive housing sites to monitor access, activity, and safety within the building after hoursTravel between various CLT supportive housing sites to conduct weekly supervisions with Safety SpecialistsKeep notes of Safety Staff weekly supervisions and development plansCoordinate with Safety Manager to assist with project needsCoordinate with Safety Manager to create monthly schedules for Safety SpecialistsComplete documentation in a timely mannerAssist Safety Manager with hiring and staffing needsReview incident reports for quality assurance and training needsEnsure new Safety Specialists receive proper onboarding and training; ensure new hires are equipped with proper technologyConduct camera reviews as directed by Safety ManagerConduct camera reviews to ensure proper time, attendance, and completion of rounds of Safety SpecialistsConduct randomized camera reviews to ensure safety in buildingsBe on call for Safety Specialists during their shifts
