The Website & Social Media Manager manages website content and analytics, creates social media content for school's institutional and athletic accounts, provides videography and photography, and assists the Director of Marketing at Pope Saint John Paul II Preparatory School

Performance Responsibilities:
Promote our mission and programs through website content updates.
Promote our mission and programs through management of JPII Knights social media and JPII Athletics social media.
Provide data reports related to website and social media marketing.
Create publications or other printed materials.
Create content and manage TV announcement screens.
Manage videography and photography of events on campus and marketing digital assets.
Coordinate and schedule all photos with the professional photographer for ID photos, school portraits, and athletic team photos. Assist the Director of Marketing with initiatives and projects. Curate the JPII digital archive to include published articles from local media about students, athletes, and/or faculty.
Researches and implements best practices within the educational marketing industry.

RequirementsQualifications:
Promotes, supports, and lives the Christian mission of the school.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write grammatically correct and stylistically appropriate news stories, feature stories, and social media posts.

Understanding of graphic design and printing standards.
Understanding of standard practices in sports reporting and statistics.
Ability to organize and manage media files and information.
Proficiency in Instagram, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, and Finalsite.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
High expectations for quality print and digital media products.

Classification:
Full-time, 12 months, Exempt. Occasional evening and weekend work will be required to assist with event photography and videography.
