    Regional Director of Admissions and Sales

    for census development. The

    Regional Director of Admissions and Sales

    will work with facilities in the Georgia and Southern Alabama areas for their census development. Tara Cares offers the Regional Director of Admissions and Sales competitive pay and excellent benefits

    Experience in health care admissions and sales with census development is required.

    Tara Cares provides administrative support services to nursing homes.

    These services include business services such as accounting, patient reimbursement services, quality assurance consultation, admissions consultation and nutritional services consultation.


    Under the direction of the Regional Vice President, the Regional Director of Admissions and Sales facilitates the admissions activity of the facility in accordance with resident needs, government regulations and company policies so as to maintain quality care for the residents while achieving the facility's business objectives.

    Essential Duties

    • Responsible for developing and distributing admission materials to facilities, training and consulting with Admissions Coordinators in relationship-building between area discharge planners and potential residents/responsible parties.
    • Demonstrates a strong knowledge of available services, programs and activities
    throughout the facilities. Develops an appropriate admission strategy.

    • Demonstrates knowledge of HIPAA regulations as they pertain to the maintenance of private health information.
    • Works with facility management staff and Admissions Coordinators to set priorities,
    coordinate the rehabilitation services, and manage the Medicare/Medicaid Case mix.

    • Develops and conducts monthly training and orientation for Admissions
    Coordinators. Follows up at regular intervals to insure that any deterrents to the
    admissions process have been identified.

    • Maintains a working knowledge and ensures compliance with all governmental
    regulations and company admissions policies and procedures.

    • Develops positive relationships on behalf of the Company with the government
    regulators, area health care community, and the community at large.

    • Demonstrates availability to be on-call 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
    • Demonstrates knowledge of all State Department of Health rules and regulations and provides superior instruction regarding such rules and regulations to appropriate staff.
    This postion is required to travel in the Georgia and Alabama area. Tara Cares is seeking a Regional Director of Admissions who has a strong background in sales and marketing.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company's activities in a specific region, and will lead efforts to increase revenues and profits through business growth and census.

    We are interested in hiring someone who is experienced in leading sales teams and has a record of increasing profits through new strategies.


    Nursing home census development experience is required.


    Responsibilities:
    Suuport and assist the Admissions team.

    Maintain relationships with stakeholders within company.

    Deal with complex regional issues at a senior level.

    Apply knowledge of company to regional problems.

    Manage regional budget and financial issues.

    Manage regional contracts and projects.

    Work with local stakeholders to gain support for new strategies.
