    Job Description

    American Traveler is hiring a night shift RN for an inpatient rehabilitation unit, requiring a WV or compact RN license and at least one year of bedside experience.

    Responsibilities
    Work in a 10-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit within a Level 1 trauma center
    Patient population includes stroke, TBI, spinal cord injury, spinal surgery, and amputee cases

    Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5

    Uses Epic for EMR documentation
    Shift is 12 hours, 7PM-7AM, with rotating weekends and holidays
    No call or standby required
    Float to acute care units may be required if the unit is overstaffed
    No telemetry monitoring responsibilities
    Work with interdisciplinary rehab team including PT, OT, SLP, and neuropsychology
    Care for patients requiring CPAP, BiPAP, tracheostomies, PEG and Mickey buttons, or NG tubes
    Royal blue scrubs are required
    Unit orientation provided
    First time travelers are eligible for consideration
    Holiday coverage is required as part of the regular schedule

    Requirements
    Active WV or compact RN license required
    Current BLS certification required
    At least 1 year of inpatient bedside nursing experience required
    Driver's license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility
    No prior permanent employment at the facility within the last 2 years
    No prior travel experience at the facility within the last 2 years after 1 year of employment
