    Job Summary

    UofL Health - Marketing and Communications is seeking a detail-oriented, highly motivated intern interested in digital marketing, social media or related. Working under the direction of the Director of Digital Strategies, the intern will have opportunities to work in the following areas: website management, social media, online reputation management, paid campaigns, reporting and more. The department runs as the in-house advertising agency for UofL Health. The intern will have a clear understanding of the fundamental aspects of working in a creative ad agency or marketing department.

    • Make content updates to our consumer-facing websites and help manage our online Provider Finder tool.
    • Help create and manage content for our social media and other digital properties including Tiktok.
    • Assist with day-to-day online reputation management efforts including listings management, responding to reviews, and reporting.
    • Create reports for website traffic and online activity.
    • Quality Control website inspection
    • Other duties as assigned according to interests and talent. The intern will gain experience in all elements of marketing and communications efforts, including website, social media, internal communications, strategic communications, and marketing.
    Qualifications:

    Qualifications:

    • Working toward a degree or a recent graduate in Advertising, Communications, Marketing or Digital Marketing
    • Experience using social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
    • Professional, polished and a team player
    • Highly organized and the ability to focus on the small details in large projects
    • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • Good with time management and tight deadlines

    Other Requirements:

    • Applicants should be available 16+ hours per week on a regular schedule. (Actual hours to be determined)
    • Willingness to learn
    • Reliable transportation to and from the office
