    Our client is an industry leading consumer-based company and they are looking for an

    Accounting Supervisor

    that focuses on Fixed Assets to join their team. This will be a hybrid position based out of their

    Rochester, NY

    office .

    Salary falls in the $80-85k range with flexibility at the top for the right background.

    Who We're Looking For:


    Do you enjoy playing a crucial role in ensuring that a company's fixed assets are properly accounted for and managed? In this role you'll be overseeing the accounting process related to fixed assets including financial forecasts, journal entries, reconciliations, month/year-end close, budgeting, and variance analysis.

    If you're skilled at preparing, analyzing, and reviewing financial information for fixed assets, then this role may be a good fit for you

    What to Expect as an

    Accounting Supervisor:
    Prepare monthly financial forecasts
    Supervise accountants including reviewing work performed and additions to the sub-ledger (fixed assets)
    Assist with month/year-end closings
    Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, key financial reports
    Research and resolve variances
    Assist in annual budgeting process

    Qualifications for Success

    Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
    Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
    5+ years of accounting experience, with some experience in public accounting preferred
    Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
    Ability to manage a large volume of complex data
    Team oriented and collaborative approach.
    Ability to coach, develop, and mentor a team
    Excellent attention to detail, with ability to multi-task and prioritize
    Strong problem-solving skills, taking initiative in identifying problems and producing practical solutions
