Description
We are seeking a self-motivated individual for an entry level help desk position with strong customer service skills and an aptitude for technology to join our fast growing internet company.
As a member of the Help Desk, you will be responsible for managing tickets in our service queue and assisting customers by troubleshooting issues with their internet service.
This could be a good first step in building an IT career.Help Desk Operations
Provide professional, friendly technical support.
Respond to, diagnose, and resolve requests for assistance, and follow-up on end-user issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
Create timely and accurate documentation of end-user interactions.
Create timely and accurate documentation of issue escalations.
Perform basic upgrades of customer equipment.
Troubleshooting customer connections on different media like:
Fixed Wireless
Coax Cable Plant
Buildings wired for internet
Fiber to the Home connections
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Ability to build rapport with clients.
Enjoy communicating with people about I.T.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
Possess the ability to communicate technical concepts to a wide variety of clients with an array of different technical skills levels.
Positive attitudeExperience working with customers over the telephone is a benefit.
Willingness to think outside the box.
