- Provide expert-level support for GIS applications, ensuring system availability and performance.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address production-related problems.
- Assist the Business with Esri ArcGIS system upgrades to newer versions.
- Provide unit and system integration testing.
- Performs code reviews with application/data architects prior to production deployments.
- Addresses IT security issues within GIS source code and assists with required security updates.
- Submits, updates, and completes ServiceNow tickets to record work tasks, schedule planned outages, request approval to deploy bug fixes/change requests.
- Provide production support to troubleshoot day-to-day incidents and resolve application, interface, workflow, reporting, data integrity and any application issues.
- Creating and maintaining technical WAM/GIS integration documentation, including system design, architecture, user guides, and troubleshooting guides.
- Continuously improve technical and professional skills through active mentoring and training.
- Build and maintain strong relations within Business and IT Leaders, stakeholders across various business units.
- GIS and data transformations with computer programming knowledge is strongly preferred
- Strong computer skills, strong communication skills and written skills required and the proven ability to act in a leadership role and coordinate multiple disciplines through project initiation and execution
- Knowledge of geospatial data modeling and analysis
- Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile / Scrum, Waterfall
