    Job Overview:

    Sanford Federal Inc is looking for a qualified Physical Therapist, to provide physical therapy services on site at the 175th Wing (WG) located in Middle River, MD.

    Job Details:

    · Job Title: Physical Therapist

    · Location: 2701 EASTERN BLVD MIDDLE RIVER MD 21220

    · Schedule: Tuesday to Friday from 7:00 to 17:30 PM

    On scheduled weeks involving late take-off/land times for aircrew (e.g., "night flying"), the standard times will fluctuate based on the exact flying schedule but will not be more than a 10-hour day.

    Requirements & Skills:

    A minimum of four (4) years' experience is desired

    Must be a current Licensed Physical Therapist and hold a degree from an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)

    Must have experience working with professional and/or collegiate athletes, or equivalent.

    Must have experience working in an orthopedic out-patient physical therapy clinic or sports medicine clinic.

    Experience working with musculoskeletal spinal injuries is strongly preferred.

    Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

    Provide all necessary supplies, materials, equipment, and testing materials to perform physical therapy services. To include:

    ü Screenings and formal evaluations

    ü Physical therapy evaluations for all Air Force Crew referred for evaluation

    ü Participation during the initial placement or multidisciplinary team committee meeting

    Continuous assessment, evaluation, and implementation of motor therapy programs for individual students and will meet with individual students on a regular basis to provide suggestions for carryover of therapy strategies into home when necessary

    Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

    The Physical Therapist shall:

    Provide diagnostic services and reports for Air force Crew that are identified with a disability and need physical therapy services

    Assist the Air National Guard base in consulting with or obtaining services from medical providers

    Participate in multidisciplinary meetings as required

    Provide training to Air Force personnel as requested.

    Responsible for the maintenance of equipment such as wheelchairs, crutches and adaptive

    Equipment.

    Provide training for parents as required.

    Consults with other service providers to develop cohesive service plan; may provide cotreatment.
