    Job Opportunity: IS Software Engineer at Providence Jobs

    The IS Software Engineer role involves developing high-quality solutions and services to enhance caregiver satisfaction and strategic value at PSJH. Responsibilities include requirements evaluation, cost estimation, solution design and implementation, defining quality criteria, managing risks and dependencies, and integrating software into broader ecosystems.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent
    • 2 years of related experience
    • Proficiency in C#, Java, Python or equivalent programming languages
    • Experience with Git, SQL integration, and agile methodologies
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
    • Track record of successfully implementing mid-sized projects

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 2-5 years of software engineering experience
    • Healthcare setting experience
    • API development and .Net core familiarity
    • Epic Chronicles certification within the first 3 months of joining
