Harris Beach Murtha's Knowledge Services team is in search of a Research Services Coordinator with excellent organizational and analytical skills.

You will THRIVE in this role if you have:

A Bachelor's Degree
Law or business library experience (preferred)
Familiarity with library software applications (preferred)
Experience with Microsoft Office
Strong initiative when assisting attorneys and staff
Sound judgment in referring complicated questions to librarians
Superior client service and listening skills

Responsibilities


The Research Services Coordinator is responsible for supporting the firm's research services by performing basic legal, legislative, business, and other non-legal research on behalf of attorneys and professional staff.


Do you have the DRIVE and DESIRE to:
Perform legal, business and non-legal research, including searching public records
Set up tracking and monitor new court cases and records
Produce and manage current awareness alerts
Assist with quick reference questions, case pulling projects, and assembling research materials
Obtain documents from state and federal courts using electronic resources, third party vendor, or directly from court
Assist with special projects and initiatives under the direction of Knowledge Services managers or Chief Knowledge Officer

Salary information below will vary depending upon relevant experience for the position, geographic locations and weekly hours schedule. The anticipated weekly schedule for the Research Services Coordinator in Rochester is 38.75 hours per week.
