    Description


    The Risk Governance and Chief of Staff organization within the Chief Administrative Office supports the priorities and goals of the Risk function by leading strategic initiatives, driving cohesion across the organization, supporting Risk governance including committee coordination, and leading the overall Risk communication and employee engagement strategy.

    The Risk Governance team is looking for a an Assistant Vice President level candidate to support the management and review of content presented at the Board Risk Management Committee (RMC) and CBNA Risk Committee.

    The Board RMC is a standing committee of the Board of Directors and assists the Board in oversight of Citigroup's risk management framework, including significant policies and practices used in managing credit, market, operational and certain other risks.

    The CBNA Risk Committee is the senior executive level committee responsible for reviewing the CBNA Risk Appetite Framework, thresholds, and usage against the established thresholds.

    The Committee is also responsible for reviewing reports designed to monitor market, credit, operational and other risk types that impact CBNA.


    Key Responsibilities:


    Support the management of communications, material development and agendas supporting the Board RMC and CBNA Risk CommitteeManage and monitor governance responsibilities for the Board RMC and CBNA Risk Committee and oversee follow-up itemsProvide guidance to internal stakeholders on presentation materials submitted to ensure effective, appropriate and accurate communicationsWork with various subject matter experts (across all businesses) and members of the Risk Management Executive Council to identify top of mind issues / topics.

    Hold working sessions with key stakeholders and create recommendations for effective solutions to issues, structure implementation plans and assist in plan execution.

    Interact and communicate with senior management to identify key topics of interest to bring to the Board RMC and CBNA Risk CommitteeSynthesize key findings and recommendations into clear and succinct presentations for the CRO and Risk Management Executive Council as well as other internal & external forumsAssist in executing and leading high priority strategic/regulatory ad hoc projects across their lifecycle by identifying and structuring problems, analyzing root causes, developing solutions, communicating project results, and obtaining buy-in for changeDevelop strong working relationships and effectively partner with key stakeholders and subject matter experts across the organization (business & functions) to accomplish goalsJob QualificationsBachelor's degree with 3-5 years of relevant and on-the-job experience in governance and committee coordinationQuantitative/analytical skills with a working knowledge in the principles of credit, market, liquidity, operational, strategic risks and financeExposure to basic risk management measures such as OSUC, PSE, NCL, LLR, CVA, VaRGeneral knowledge of credit, market, retail, corporate, investment banking productsSuperior writing skills, able to effectively present in text or slide formatAbility to build strong internal and external relationships and partner with stakeholders to achieve resultsAbility to quickly assimilate and analyze large amounts of informationHigh attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and tight deadlinesAbility to quickly learn new concepts and pick up business knowledgeProactive and highly motivated with the ability to multi-task productively and to work independently as well as collaborativelyHigh proficiency in MS office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Excellent organizational, follow-up and time management skills.

    Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
    $96, $144,600.00In addition to salary, Citi's offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
