Job summary
The position of Assistant Cook is to plan coordinate and assist in supervising the activities and operations of the kitchen; prepare large quantities of food items;and to assist in the development and control of food service budget for assigned operations.Provides for efficient effective day to day operations of food service activities.
- Assumes responsibility for the security of foods supplies along with checking that all equipment is in working condition notifies appropriate authority when repairs are needed.
- Plans prepares serves food as well as balanced meal counts.
