ManTech International Corporation is seeking a

Senior System Administrator

to support a nationally recognized advanced research laboratory. The work is performed in the

College Park, Maryland

area.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Supporting and maintaining laboratory information technology systems and infrastructure including desktop computers, servers, networking equipment, LANs/WANs, and servers.
Providing help desk problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
Managing the configuration and operation of information technology systems.
Optimizing system operation and resource utilization.
Performing system analysis and capacity planning.
Configuring and managing UNIX, Windows, or other applicable operating systems.
Installing and maintaining operating systems and software.
Maintain Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert security patches and required documentation.
Procuring hardware and software to maintain the laboratory information technology infrastructure.

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and fifteen (15) years of experience working as a systems administrator or twenty (20) years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.

Security Clearance Requirements:
Active TS/SCI with polygraph

Physical Requirements:
Sedentary work that primarily involves

sitting/standing/walking/talking

and must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one work site to another (at customer site).
Communicating with others to exchange information and frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate
