    About the Role

    Reporting to the Guest Retention Manager, the Guest Retention Specialist (PT) at Salata is the most direct line to our guests. Bringing with them their outgoing personality and positive attitude every day, the Guest Retention Specialist is responsible for providing a welcoming presence and excellent service to support their team with the goal of maintaining guest retention and finding quick resolutions to guest feedback. This position will follow and improve the guest relations process and ensure all guest feedback is addressed through all channels, including social media, the Salata website, and over the phone.

    Guest Retention Specialist (PT) Core Responsibilities

    Typical activities include, but are not limited to:
    • Supports all aspects of Salata's guest retention and online reputation to ensure that guests have a consistent, desirable experience when providing feedback and attaining a resolution to that feedback.
    • Responds to guest feedback both through the website and review sites to maintain an excellent online reputation.
    • Analyzes guest satisfaction to determine efficiencies in the resolution process and provide actionable insights to Operations Team.
    • Provides support in the success of our Salata Tastemaker Loyalty Program for both individuals and catering.
    Qualifications & Skills
    • 2-3 years of hospitality experience in a restaurant or retail environment.
    • Knowledge of using and maintaining a guest retention ticketing system.
    • Knowledge of best practices for maintaining a good online reputation and social media best practices for guest relations.
    • Must have a driver's license.
    • Must have a clear MVR.
    • One week of operational training is required at Salata's Houston-based HQ.

    Physical Demands
    • Function in a fast-paced, restaurant, office environment
    • Sit for an extended period of time.

    • Occasionally lift 50 lbs. or more.
    Requirements

    Supervisory Responsibility

    The Guest Retention Specialist (PT) has no supervisory responsibilities.

    Work Environment

    This job operates out of the Home Office in Houston and remotely from a home office.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

    This is a part-time non-exempt position. Days and hours of work will be Monday-Friday 9am-2pm or Monday-Wednesday 9am-5pm. This position may transition to a full-time, salary-based position.

    Travel: 5%

    Travel may be expected based on the assignment.
