    Position Title:

    JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Answers and promptly returns calls to external or internal customers needing assistance with electrical and electronic issues;
    Assists the customers, technicians, and service personnel in identifying defective parts and appropriate replacement parts;
    Listens to customer's concerns, takes time to understand the points made, and asks the right questions to gather more information needed to help resolve the customer's issues and provide support;
    Researches and analyzes operating and equipment errors to determine possible causes;
    Determines and considers the functionality of equipment or systems and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect the outcome;
    Confers with engineers, customers, subvendors, and others to discuss existing or potential electrical, electronic, and/or computer hardware/software issues on KBA equipment;
    Writes detailed notes and documents technical procedures;
    Programs and parametrizes electronic modules and computers as needed;
    Tracks and follows up on open issues with appropriate stakeholders;
    Verbally communicates highly technical issues and solutions to external and internal customers with varying degrees of technical knowledge and abilities;
    Works at the customer site on occasion, approximately 10% or less, to troubleshoot and resolve electrical, electronic, computer hardware/software issues;
    Handles appropriately proprietary company information and documentation; and
    Performs other related job responsibilities as necessary based on business needs.
    MINIMUM EDUCATION/


    EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
    Requires Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
    Experience working on industrial equipment.

    Requires more than 75% international and domestic travel the first 1-2 years of employment and approximately 15% international and domestic travel thereafter.

    Experience may be gained concurrently.
