    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Position Summary
    The General Manager is responsible for the management, growth and overall profitability for one or more branch offices within the region - ensuring all necessary provisions for development, training and resources are present to accomplish established goals and objectives. The ideal candidate must have the ability to understand financial reports and establish personal credibility with internal and external clients by being honest, forthright, consistent and dependable.

    Job Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
    • Build strong collaborative teams of support staff to ensure service is of the highest standards - capable of representing GardaWorld as the premier provider of security services in the industry
    • Plan, budget and track results of responsible branch office(s) to ensure strong financial performance and complete customer satisfaction
    • Review activities, costs, operations and forecast data to determine branch progress towards stated goals and objectives
    • Achieve year-over-year growth in profit percentage and dollars in the branch
    • Confer with Regional Vice President to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from current status and conditions
    • Provide guidance and support to ensure branch maintains a consistent focus on strong customer relationships and higher customer retention
    • Ensure 100% compliance with all federal, state and local regulations
    • Ensure 100% compliance with all contracts and collective bargaining agreements
    • Lead career-pathing and succession planning programs within branch
    • Support employment cases and union activities as needed
    • Ensure progressive discipline is followed on all corrective actions
    • Supervise and manage all branch staff

    QUALIFICATIONS
    • A bachelor's degree in business or related field
    • Minimum 3 years management experience; 5 years preferred
