    As a Senior Director of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within Consumer and Community Banking Travel, you lead a technical area and drive impact within teams, technologies, and projects across departments.

    Utilize your in-depth knowledge of software, applications, technical processes, and product management to drive multiple complex projects and initiatives, while serving as a primary decision maker for your teams and be a driver of innovation and solution delivery.

    Job ResponsibilitiesLeads technology and process implementations to achieve functional technology objectives for Corporate Travel technologiesOversees decisions that influence teams resources, budget, operations, and the execution and implementation of processes and proceduresCarries governance accountability for coding decisions, control obligations, and measures of success such as productivity, quality, cost of ownership, maintainability, and portfolio operationsDelivers technical solutions that can be leveraged across multiple businesses and domainsInfluences peer leaders and senior stakeholders across the business, product, and technology teamsChampions the firms culture of , equity, , and respectPartner with product and business groups, to drive participation, plans, timelines, dependencies and solutions to ensure successful delivery leading to desired outcomesDrives accountability across different technology work streams to meet commitments and standards, including Data Engineering, Infrastructure and Cyber Security, focused on risk and dependency management ensuring contingencies and mitigations are in placeWork with CTO or Head of Corporate and Premium Travel Technology, to distill overall integration strategy and requirements to ensure technology solutions for all applications, systems and processesDrive the adoption of relevant cloud technologies, enablement tools and processes for our engineering teams, as a part of integrationCreate and maintain detailed technology roadmaps with corresponding work streams and stakeholders, ensuring all solutions and requirements are clearly understood and communicatedRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, And SkillsFormal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience.

    In addition, 5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage, anticipate and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise.10+ years of travel technology experience, 5+ years of Travel Management technology experienceUnderstanding and experience with cloud technologies, software engineering/product engineering methods, technology best practices such as ITSM and ITIL, budget and resource planning and transformation initiativesDemonstrated prior experience influencing across highly matrixed, complex organizations and delivering value at scaleExperience managing competing requirements to align product prioritization with technical capacity and feasibility, balancing solution priorities between long-term technical roadmap and short-term execution needsUnderstand and convey programming models, technologies, systems and APIs that are relevant for stakeholdersWork with product teams regularly to ensure understanding and alignment of requirements and technical solutionsParticipate and/or lead opportunities with third parties, working to understand why and how we may integrate and leverage their capabilitiesExperience with hiring, developing, and recognizing talentExpertise in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical fieldQualifications, Capabilities, And SkillsAbility to evaluate and identify gaps in development and technical management processes and lead teams through adoption of best practices eg: Agile, ITSM and ITILTrack record of leading teams through change by motivating, inspiring and being an exampleAbility to frame and communicate complex or abstract concepts in a clear, cohesive framework for all levels of the organizationTrack record of managing with a focus on risk and dependency managementAbout UsChase is a leading financial services firm, helping nearly half of Americas households and small businesses achieve their financial goals through a broad range of financial products.
