    Description

    Job Title: Supervisor I, Manufacturing

     

    • In this role you will coordinate the day-to-day activities of a team of production workers to ensure that manufacturing operations run according to established production specifications and schedules volume cost and wastage targets or quality standards.
    • You will monitor the volume and quality of output and adjust tasks timing equipment set-up or inputs so that production specifications are met and resources are used efficiently.
    • The job requires supervising staff to ensure all production tasks are performed safely.
    • This position involves training new workers in our organization's operating procedures and standards.
    • We have responsibilities for shift safety training continuous improvement activities preparation of production reports identification of performance problems resolution physical demands light work exerting up to 20 lbs force occasionally including lifting carrying pushing pulling reaching working environment moderate noise intensity office environment combined with factory/production setting required skills include accountabilities include scheduling hiring termination direct supervision proposing course action resolving daily problems coordinating teams coaching communication sound judgment ability handle complexity maintaining organized documentation administrative reporting ability ensuring compliance with applicable policies regulations key qualifications bachelor degree combination education experience required certifications preferred software used MS Office strong problem solving analytical critical thinking trouble shooting strategic planning people management leadership projects collaboration teamwork goal oriented self motivated persistent."}
