    As a Member Solutions Repossession Specialist, youll have the opportunity to work on a team that truly cares.


    What your day may include:


    Performing administrative duties related to repossessions of consumer loans including, but not limited to: Ensuring all pre & post repossession notices are sent in accordance with local and state lawsAssigns vehicles to approved repossession agents to include tracking and follow up for timely location of the collateralEnsures proper file maintenance is placed on the account at the time of assigning the repossession and at the time the vehicle is repossessed.

    Disposing of repossessed collateral via auto auctions & ensuring timely receipt of all proceeds of sales, including being familiar with the sales process at the approved auto auctions (title requirements, bidding instructions, sale proceed requirements, etc.)

    Working with third party vendors for vehicle impounds and seizuresProcessing and collecting insurance claims and refundable contract premiums including primary insurance, Gap insurance, service contracts, and other source of revenue available on assigned accountsManaging WSECU's collateral portfolio while focusing on aging accounts within the repossession queuesMonitoring the results of all repossession agents, auctions, and insurance companies to insure maximum recovery values for WSECUObtaining and negotiating flexible and attainable payment options for borrower(s)Maintaining a scorecard percentage of 85% or higher each monthWhat you bring to the team:

    Minimum two (2) years financial institution experienceMinimum two (2) years consumer collection experienceMinimum one (1) year repossession and skip tracing experienceKnowledge of lending and financial regulations (FDCPA, FCRA and SCRA)Tactful, effective communication skills (listening, speaking, writing)Ability to communicate information with emotional people in a positive and diplomatic manner over the telephone.

    The ability to form recommendations with clear and concise written supportAbility to calculate interest rates and percentages and to research and solve numeric discrepanciesCompetitive Base Pay:
    $ $37.74 per hour, dependent on relevant qualifications, plus an annual discretionary incentive plan and benefits packageThe range above allows our employees room for growth through annual merit and other pay increase during their tenure in the position.
    The target range for qualified new hires is typically within the first half of the range.

    Actual offers will be based on individual qualifications relevant to the role and will not take an applicants pay history into account.


    Position location:
    330 Union Ave, Olympia WA. Employee must reside and perform all work in the state of Washington. This is a hybrid position that blends working in-office and from home. Works onsite one (1) occasion per week.


    When youd work:
    Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm.
