- Troubleshoot Issues: by swiftly analyzing data to identify root causes and work towards solutions with the team; by designing programs for machining equipment to meet tolerance and finish requirements; by setting up autoloaders and advising on machine usage; by correcting errors and ensuring compliance with production methods and quality standards.
- Product Development: participating in all stages of product development; creating tools to automate processes; recommending tooling applications and operational sequences; finding cost-saving solutions and quality improvements; supporting new machine installations and assisting in design engineering.
- Training of Staff to Ensure Workflow Process: interacting with employees and users through various channels; setting up machines and training operators; enhancing operator skill levels; identifying and resolving process bottlenecks.
- Prepare Technical Documentation: documenting product issues, observations, diagnoses, and actions; preparing reports on production performance and troubleshooting guides.
- Keeps Senior Management Informed: reporting to the General Manager Of Engineering and Production Group members verbally and in writing.
- Contributes to Team Effort by covering for other Staff as needed; assisting in new Staff transitions; following internal policies and procedures; communicating business-related information to relevant Staff and Management.
- Maintains Professional Knowledge by updating job skills; enhancing current job-related skills; learning new job-related skills as necessary.
- Acts on Constructive Feedback by using feedback to improve performance; recommending improvements to work policies and processes.
- Contributes to a Safe Working Environment by reporting unsafe conditions; following safety guidelines; wearing necessary PPE; maintaining equipment.
- Promotes Growth of Employees by serving on SEG committees and fostering a positive work environment.
- 4-year degree preferred or 3-5 years of relevant experience; Language Skills and Mathematical Skills including understanding policies, verbally communicating, applying algebra and geometry concepts; Reasoning Skills and Other Skills such as problem-solving, interpreting blueprints, and experience in the cutting tools industry.
