    360Connect is seeking a skilled Jr. Web Developer & Designer to work on a multitude of varying projects. The right individual for this role must be a creative problem solver with strong knowledge of web technologies including PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and have a keen eye for graphic design and UI/UX concepts. This role will work as a creative and technical implementation stakeholder for our CMS and will collaborate with other developers and department managers to ensure technical vision is appropriately planned, outlined, socialized, documented, and implemented.

We help Buyers who are searching online for products and services for their business or residential needs, by connecting them with our existing Supplier base. We do this by providing "marketing in a box" where we strive to seamlessly connect our Suppliers and active Buyers seeking price quotes. We have several departments in-house from Tech to Sales, Marketing, Client Success, and Leads that all contribute and work in tandem to achieve companywide success.

    Responsibilities:

    • Work with the Website Manager and Marketing department to plan and implement strategic technical and user-friendly web solutions.
    • Write code that is clean, efficient, stable, and secure.
    • Assure quality and compatibility of all frontend and backend assets.
    • Maintain website CMS system (WordPress) including overseeing deployment of software upgrades, enhancements, and fixes.
    • Graphic design for mediums including web and email.
    • Drive technical decisions about functionality and user experience.
    • Set up best practices, industry standards and efficient processes and enforce them.
    • Research new technologies to optimize the current solutions and to make them sustainable for the future, applying in-house standards and market best practices.
    • Scope projects, map dependencies and provide implementation details.
    • Monitor and optimize web assets and performance.
    • Address server downtime and error logs, and ensure the best quality of service needed to support the web architecture.
    Qualifications
    • 1+ years of experience in various web development/admin / QA roles.
    • Experience working with the PHP programming language.
    • Practical knowledge and familiarity with WordPress environment and its architecture, capabilities, and features.
    • Good understanding of web technologies, frameworks, and architecture.
    • Code/website optimization experience including utilizing profiling techniques.
    • Experience working with 3rd party API's.
    • Understanding of UI/UX, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions, and standards.
    • Graphic design experience in applications like Photoshop.
    • Working in local / development, staging, and production environments both in the office and remotely.
