    Arbol Residences Santa Rosa Senior Living is recruiting for a hospitality focused Part time MDS Nurse to join our team Must have one day of weekend responsibility, either Saturday or Sunday.

    The MDS Nurse is RN/LVN who is responsible for the overall supervision, coordination, maintenance, and timely completion of the MDS, Care plans and medical records for residents.

    MDS Nurse is responsible for the overall nursing care/services on the shift, including the accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation, and emergency call, as indicated.

    Coordinates, conducts, and completes the MDS, resident care plans, nursing assessments and conferences on the computerized system.
    Assures accuracy and completeness of entire medical record.
    Assures and monitors that MDSs are completed within HCFA and Medicare guidelines.
    Participates in family/resident care plan conferences.
    Assures effective communication and training with other shifts and department as it relates to the medical record documentation.
    Serves as a charge nurse in order to meet the needs of residents.
    Responds to emergency calls as necessary.
    Notifies Physician and family of changes in residents' conditions.
    Encourages rehabilitative techniques in order to restore residents' independence.
    Assists DON in developing and implementing medical records policies and procedures.
    Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.

    In-Depth experience and knowledge working with MDS computer software. must be able to lift, transfer, turn and position residents weighing up to 50 lbs. unassisted, or with assistance May be subjected to offensive odors and combative behavior. May be exposed to communicable diseases including the HIV and HBV viruses. Many roles in the community may require that we ask about your vaccination status. This could include MMR, chicken pox, hepatitis, flu and COVID-19 vaccine status.

    Please note that all employees are required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination, or apply for and receive an approved exemption, as a condition of employment.
