The Nutrition & Food Service Worker at Anderson Health Services is expected to:
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree in human services or related field required OR an associate degree with a minimum of two years of population specific experience working with the youth is required.
This position will require a wide variety of physical tasks such as standing, walking, running, stooping, bending climbing stairs, and lifting individuals, which requires strength, coordination, endurance, and agility.
In addition, there may be occasional contact with hostile clients, and incumbents may be subjected to physical and verbal abuse while executing physical or protective interventions.
The employee must maintain sufficient physical ability to ensure safety, in the event a client becomes violent, and attempts to hurt themselves or others.
The employee must be agile enough to control and rapidly extricate themselves and clients from buildings in case of emergency.
Additional RequirementsMust be 21 years and older and have a valid NC driver's license with a good driving record. Must be able to demonstrate effective self-regulation strategies. Must be coachable and willing to learn. All potential job candidates must pass a drug screening and background check.
