- Engage with Customers: Work closely with customers to collect overdue payments, maintaining professionalism and rapport for successful resolutions.
- Establish Payment Plans: Evaluate individual customer circumstances and set up payment plans when required, showing flexibility while following company policies.
- Process Payments: Efficiently handle payment processing to ensure accurate allocation of received payments.
- Ad Hoc Tasks: Undertake additional assignments as necessary, showcasing adaptability and team support.
- 2-3+ Years of Recent Collections Experience: Demonstrate a strong background in collections, with at least 2-3 recent years of experience.
- Proficient in MS Excel: Possess basic to intermediate MS Excel skills to analyze data and create reports supporting collection efforts.
- Experience in Great Plains: Familiarity with Great Plains is beneficial for understanding commonly used accounting software in collections.
- Experience in Ascend: Knowledge of Ascend is advantageous to adapt and utilize specialized software systems effectively.
