    Atrium Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Pediatric PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a nursing job in Charlotte, North Carolina.

    Neonatal Progressive Care Nursery:
    NPCN is a step down unit from the NICU.

    NPCN cares for Level II and III babies including but not limited to trachs, ostomies, pre-ops, PCVCs and PIVs, High Flow Nasal Canula, babies on at least 50% enteral feedings, NAS, etc.

    The unit is licensed for 32 beds and have the capacity to go up to 36 babies when NICU is above capacity as well.

    NPCN receives babies from the newborn nursery and transfers from LCH NICU as well as outlying hospitals. NPCN see much of the same diagnoses as the NICU.

    Registered Nurses at Atrium Health have the ability to grow in their profession through the Clinical Nurse Credentialing Pathway (CNCP).

    We have 4 pediatric hospitalist teams, a 20-bed PICU (including Cardiac ICU), an 85-bed Level IV NICU, and an inpatient pediatric rehabilitation floor.

    Levine Children's Hospital is also Charlotte's only Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center, staffed by doctors trained in pediatric emergency medicine.

Education, Experience and Certifications Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required; BLS required per policy guidelines.

    Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state in which you work and reside or; or for Non-National License Compact states, current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner required in the state where the RN works.

    Additional education, training, certifications, or experience may be required within the department by the department manager.
