    Job Summary
    We are searching for a Benefits Support Analyst someone who works well in a fast-paced setting.

    In this position, you will provide ongoing support, research and analysis to benefits programs and policies, including but not limited to health and welfare and retirement programs.

    Responsible for resolving complex issues related to benefits programs and policies, working closely with the team members, vendors and internal partners.

    Responsibilities

    • Analyzes and prepares data for various committees, including the Benefits Committee and Pension Committee
    • Supports the benefits team regarding work pertaining to plan documents, audits, testing, PPACA, 5500's, plan financials, budgets and billing
    • Provides plan reporting and utilization metrics
    • Creates and maintains a variety of reports/queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools
    • Resolve escalated employee issues as needed
    • Develop administrative process efficiencies and provide data analysis, research and planning to support health & welfare and retirement programs.
    • Working closely with benefit program subject matter experts, assist in identifying and implementing "best practices" in delivering programs to employees
    • Develop metrics to gauge employee satisfaction and engagement
    • Determine opportunities to enhance the customer service experience.
    • Develops process and workflow efficiencies, both internally and with external partners
    • Ensure operational efficiencies of administrative procedures and exceptional documentation of processes
    • Identifies and recommends process automation opportunities for improvements in accuracy and timeliness
    • Recommend and propose process enhancements opportunities.
    • Annual enrollment planning and related events
    • Employee Recognition Ceremony (ERC)
    • Support Benefits Team on various annual projects and events
    Qualifications

    • Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including any booster dose(s) of the COVID-19 vaccine recommended by the Centers for Disease Control when eligible, is required for all employees at Texas Children's unless approved for a medical or religious exemption.
    • Required Bachelor's Degree Business Administration, Human Resources or a related discipline
    • Required 2 years experience in Benefits
