Assembler kzz
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reads and follows blueprints, travelers, work instructions, specifications, and other instructions to build, assemble and test parts in an accurate and timely fashion
Examines components and assemblies for correct fit.
Interpret measurements.
Documents actions by completing production and quality forms (including electronically).
Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Keeps equipment operational by completing preventative maintenance requirements as required.
Report errors in the product line.
Regularly follows all safety policies and procedures
Adheres to established regulatory compliance, industry certification, and TLX's Quality Management System requirements
Demonstrated Competence
Basic mathematical skills such as the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
General knowledge of the metric system
Basic understanding of task-specific assembly techniques
Product Knowledge:
Just learning product function and cross-trained on a variety of lines
Aptitude:
Learns new assignments with repetition and retains most procedures once learned
Education and/or Experience
High School degree or GED
Mechanical aptitude
Basic data entry ability
Previous assembly experience preferred, but not required
