    Overview:
    Cedar Fair is seeking a Brand Manager at our Corporate Charlotte office. The Brand Manager supports all Brand Management activities as needed. This may range from assisting with Consumer Demand analysis and planning, to park and special event brand planning, Roadmap/Strategic Plans development, earned media and media relations opportunities, retail partnership management and overseeing/directing in-park activities of Brand Activation Manager.

    Responsibilities:
    • Reporting to Director, Brand Management, the Brand Manager is responsible for execution of marketing tactics to support revenue and attendance, including general park admission, online advanced sales, consumer promotions, special events and tourism initiatives as is relevant.
    • Manages in-park brand activation execution via Park Operations and In-park Brand Activation Manager. This may require partnering with park operations teams, i.e., food & beverage, entertainment, guest services, etc., to ensure integration, collaboration, and brand alignment.
    • Assists Brand Director with marketing roadmaps and integrated communications plans associated with brand plans, special events and consumer demand activities. Partners with shared services functions (Advertising, CRM, Passholder, Ecommerce and Marketing Ops, Marketing Analytics, Entertainment and Park Ops) to ensure optimal results of campaigns/events.
    • Is responsible for identifying, briefing, and overseeing production and fulfillment of in-park marketing collateral/signage and any special events needs utilizing MAPS and SHOW to ensure brand consistency across channels and optimal placement.
    • Partners with Entertainment and F&B to solidify special event content for shared park events.
    • Works with Corp web content strategists to develop special event web content plan to support event brands
    • Works with advertising agencies to negotiate value-add media and promotional activities to support overall marketing and media plan.
    • Solicits, negotiates and executes consumer promotional/retail programs, including quick service restaurants, beverage partners, mass retailers, etc.
    • Works alongside Brand Director, Business Intelligence, Communications/PR, Season Pass and Advertising peers to establish annual promotional calendar and message maps.
    • Responsible for communications and relationship building between brand marketing and park/resorts. Establish regular cadence of meetings to review plans, progress, and results throughout season. Keeps the park communications staff and brand activation manager on point and accountable for plan deliverables; assists with influencing and nurturing relationships of in-park ops teams including Retail, F&B, Entertainment, Guest Services, etc.
    • Responsible for supervising all activities of Brand Activation Manager while coaching and evaluating performance throughout the year.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree required.
    • 4-6 years' work-related experience required.
    • Travel: 25% of the time.
    • Brand Management, Special Events Planning, Consumer Demand Planning, Communications Planning, and Project Management. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Proven leadership skills.
    • Ability to effectively partner with various stakeholders. Able to stay on budget and on time with projects. Solid leadership experience.
    • Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
    • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
    • Must possess a valid Driver's License.
