    Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a CNC EDM Programmer – Fast Hole Drilling to join their team. As a CNC EDM Programmer – Fast Hole Drilling, you will be part of the Manufacturing Engineering department supporting the shop floor operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

    Pay Range:

    What's the Job?

    • Generate and maintain CNC programs utilizing NX-CAM or other software, focusing on Fast-hole EDM drilling.
    • Verify new CNC programs prior to release on the shop floor utilizing Vericut.
    • Provide CNC related support to Manufacturing Engineers and assist with operator training during machine startup and process improvements.
    • Offer daily operator support through CNC programming and troubleshooting on the shop floor.
    • Support and implement tooling & fixturing requirements associated with CNC machine tools.

    What's Needed?

    • Bachelor's Degree, Associate's Degree, or Machinist Apprentice (or similar) graduate with 3 years of experience with graphical based CAM System CNC Programming OR High School Degree with 6 years of experience in the same field.
    • Hands-on experience with fast-hole EDM drilling.
    • Ability to learn and work with well-documented, GE-developed programs.
    • Proficiency in generating toolpaths, including creating helper geometry to drive paths.
    • Familiarity with FANUC Macro B for probing, tool selection, data capture, and hole-location logic; comfortable reading and extending existing macros.
