- Contact properties and coordinates site walks between the property, engineering and construction representatives.
- Work with the Engineer on any design issues to ensure the job can be built once designed.
- Quality check the final ISP design to make sure it matches everything discussed with the property on the site survey and that it is buildable.
- Work with multiple vendors to get estimates for all material needed to complete the construction of each job.
- Place orders for all major material and track material delivered to sub contractor's locations.
- Oversee one or more sub contractors, assign work and ensure all work is tracked properly by the subsidiary and RJE.
- Work with Verizon inspectors, properties and sub contractors to clear any roadblocks which may delay the completion of construction.
- Must have install experience with apartment or highrise business buildings.
- 3-5 years of outside plant and inside plant installation and/or design experience.
- Knowledge of aerial, buried, underground and inside building construction methods for telecommunications.
- Strong understanding of inside path installation and construction for fiber cables and drop deployment.
- Advanced interpersonal skills; must work well with customers, clients and employee/sub contractors.
- Must have good computer skills and be proficient with Word, Excal, Gmail and be able to learn and use customer programs.
- Experience with Verizon practices is preferred.
