Requirements:

Must-Have Skills and Experience:

Proficiency with CATIA V5.

Experience in CNC programming, specifically in the aerospace industry.

Maximum of 12 years of experience.

Technical Knowledge:

Trained in CADAM, CATIA, and APT programming.

Knowledge of manufacturing methods and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with CATIA V5 for 3D modeling and surfacing.

NC (Numerical Control) programming expertise.

Experience with flat patterns.

Job Description:

Documentation: Maintain detailed records of CNC programs to ensure consistent process control.

Design and Fabrication: Create tooling/material sketches, setup sheets, dimensional charts, and machine operation diagrams. Use engineering information to determine the most efficient CNC methods for lofting and fabricating, considering sheet metal standards and numerically controlled fabrication equipment.

Operational Planning: Determine the optimal sequence of operations for numerically controlled sheet metal fabrication equipment, particularly for complex tasks.

Project Management: Handle multiple assignments simultaneously and provide accurate cost/hour estimates. Manage workflows for specific projects and guide other team members.

Engineering Collaboration: Interact with engineering personnel to resolve design issues and ensure tooling and manufacturing standards are met.

Manufacturing Development: Create additional lines and surfaces for parts, tools, fixtures, and mockups, ensuring adherence to design characteristics and aerodynamic features.
