JobSummary: The VascularSurgeon is responsible for administering and interpreting all aspects ofpatient care, including diagnosis, treatments and consultations within theinpatient and/or outpatient setting.
This position will also educate patientsabout preventative care and prescribed treatments; may also conduct physicals,order tests and serve as a patient's healthcare provider.
Duties andEssential Job Functions:
Coordinates the multidisciplinary caredelivered to all patients, to optimize patient care.
Reviews patient medical charts todiagnose, treat, and provide care management and education to patients andfamilies.
Makes appropriate patient referrals asnecessary.
Monitors guidelines for the management ofcare and for ensuring the services are delivered in compliance with theguidelines established by JPS Health Network and Acclaim Physician Group.
Provides evidence-based and compassionatecare to all patients as assigned to improve patient outcomes and increasepatient satisfaction scores. Demonstrates patient centered and patient valuedbehavior.Maintains a collaborative environment withother referring physicians, residents, clinical staff, and support staff toprovide quality patient care.
Supports academic, educational andresearch endeavors.
Attends Performance Improvement Programsand Peer Review committee meetings; and is an active participant in the process.
Partners and communicates with acumen tobuild a positive brand and patient/customer experience for those who encounterJPS Health Network and Acclaim Physician Group.
This would include healthnetwork staff, vendors, outside partners, patients, stakeholders, and localcommunity leaders.Serves as a resource to the community.

Qualifications:
RequiredEducation and Experience:
Current Medical Doctor (M.D) or Doctor ofOsteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited school of medicine.
Residency and/or Fellowship trainingwithin specialty.
RequiredLicensure/Certification/Specialized Training:
Current, unrestricted medical license topractice in the State of Texas.
