    International Energy company is seeking a Commercial Analyst who is integral to the development of new utility-scale renewable energy and battery projects, focusing on commercial and financial aspects.

    This role involves financial modeling, proposal preparation, and contract arrangement for Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and finance structures such as tax equity and project finance.

    The Commercial Analyst will collaborate closely with the Vice President of the Renewable Energy Division.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Develop and update financial models in collaboration with external financial advisors, ensuring accuracy in forecasting and valuation.
    Conduct sensitivity analysis and compare financial outcomes under various assumptions.
    Analyze market trends and pricing forecasts, adjusting models based on a cultivated market understanding.
    Participate in meetings with financial, tax, and insurance advisors, ensuring comprehensive documentation through meticulous meeting minutes.
    Prepare financing arrangements for projects, maintaining ongoing communication with lenders.
    Coordinate the preparation and finalization of PPA proposals and contracts.
    Assess the economic viability of potential projects, incorporating technical and commercial inputs.
    Facilitate equity transactions related to project financing with relevant stakeholders.

    Minimal (0% 10%)

    Minimum Qualifications:
    Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
    At least 3 years of experience in business finance, particularly within renewable energy settings.
    Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Excel.
    Strong analytical and data management skills.
    Demonstrated understanding of financial structuring for renewable energy projects, including tax equity and project finance.


    Preferred Qualifications:
    Further credentials such as FMVA or similar designations.
    Experience with corporate PPA and equity sell-down transactions.
