Description

As a Commercial Mover with MG Moving Services, you will be responsible for efficiently and safely relocating office furniture, equipment, and other items for businesses.

You will work as part of a team to execute relocations according to client specifications while ensuring minimal disruption to their operations.

The role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. This job will not be full-time, rather you will be getting work as needed.


Responsibilities:

Furniture and Equipment Moving:
Safely dismantle, transport, and reassemble office furniture such as desks, chairs, cubicles, and filing cabinets. Move heavy equipment and machinery as required.


Packing and Unpacking:
Properly pack and unpack items to prevent damage during transit. Label boxes accurately to ensure easy identification upon delivery.


Loading and Unloading:
Load items onto trucks or other transport vehicles securely to prevent shifting or damage during transit. Unload items at the destination and place them according to client specifications.


Client Interaction:
Communicate with clients to understand their moving requirements and address any concerns they may have. Provide excellent customer service throughout the moving process.


Team Collaboration:
Work effectively as part of a team to coordinate moving tasks and ensure efficient completion of projects. Assist team members as needed to meet deadlines and maintain productivity.


Problem Solving:
Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the moving process, such as tight spaces, obstacles, or logistical complications


Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries during the moving process. Use proper lifting techniques and safety equipment as necessary.


Equipment Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance checks on moving equipment and vehicles to ensure they are in proper working condition. Report any issues or concerns to management promptly.


Qualifications:
Needs experience in mounting and dismounting televisions. Needs experience in breaking down cubicles. Needs experience in how to disassemble office furniture. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed. Able to work as needed rather than a typical set amount of time per week.


Compensation:
$17 - $19 an hour
