The Department of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center is looking for candidates to lead as Chief of the Division of Critical Care. The selected candidate will have the exciting opportunity to shape the growth of an already stellar Pediatric Critical Care program within the dynamic and expanding UT Southwestern Medical Center, consistently recognized among the nation's top institutions.
The Chief will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to critically ill children, driving research and innovation, and educating future physicians in Pediatric Intensive Care. With a team of 35 faculty members, the Division focuses on various areas like extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, quality improvement, resuscitation optimization, educational research, and neuroprotection.
Responsibilities include overseeing clinical care at two sites, Children's Health Dallas and Children's Health Plano, and contributing to the Division's growth plans, aligning with the mission of advancing specialized care across the region.
