    Qualified applicants must possess a High school diploma or GED plus specialized training and/or additional college courses and 2 years of related experience and/or training.

    Must possess a valid Arkansas Commercial Driver's License or able to acquire an Arkansas Commercial Driver's License within 90 days of employment.


    Starting salary:
    $32,691

    Job Description


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide good customer service to both internal and external customers; maintain positive and effective working relationships with other City employees (especially members of his or her own team), and have regular and reliable attendance that is non-disruptive.
    • Operate a tractor.
    • Operate a roller.
    • Operate a broom.
    • Operate a dump truck.
    • Perform maintenance and servicing of truck when needed.
    • Operate all other departmental maintenance equipment.
    • Perform other duties as required or assigned.

    SUPERVISION RESPONSIBILITES
    None Indicated.


    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE


    High school diploma or GED plus specialized training and/or additional college courses and 2 years of related experience and/or training.

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

    Must possess a valid Arkansas Commercial Driver's License or able to acquire an Arkansas Commercial Driver's License within 90 days of employment.


    PUBLIC CONTACT
    Daily contact with the general public.


    EMPLOYEE CONTACT
    Daily contact with supervisors, co-workers, and Police Department.

    USE OF MACHINES, EQUIPMENT AND/OR COMPUTERS

    Must be proficient in the use of a dump truck, roller, broom, and tractor.


    OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES


    Ability to utilize both internal and external resources to obtain information and data necessary to carry out routine assignments and special projects.

    Must have ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management and staff.
