    Join Our Team as a Locum Physician - OB Hospitalist in Prestonsburg, KY

    Role Overview:


    As a Locum OB Hospitalist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive obstetric services within a dynamic hospital environment.

    You will manage unassigned and private obstetric patients, collaborate with a dedicated team of medical professionals, and ensure the highest standards of maternal and fetal care.

    This position is ideal for physicians seeking to expand their experience, contribute to a diverse patient population, and enjoy the benefits of flexible locum assignments.


    Required Skills:
    MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
    Valid medical license in Kentucky
    Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
    Proven experience in obstetric care, including labor and delivery management
    Ability to handle high-stakes clinical situations with professionalism and composure
    Excellent communication and teamwork skills
    Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems


    Nice to Have Skills:
    Experience with Level 2 NICU care
    Familiarity with anesthesia coverage models
    Background in outpatient obstetric and gynecologic services
    Prior participation in residency programs or teaching hospital environments
    Experience working with MFM specialists remotely


    Preferred Education and Experience:
    Completion of Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program
    Minimum of 3 years of obstetric practice, preferably in hospital settings
    Hands-on experience with labor management, GYN surgeries, and outpatient clinics


    Other Requirements:
    Ability to start employment or assignment by December 31, 2025
    Willingness to work under a locum, contracted schedule
    Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
    Must hold or be eligible for Kentucky medical licensure
    Travel and licensing reimbursements available where applicable
