    What You Will Be Doing
    As an F-35 Manufacturing Engineering / Corrective Action Manager for Component Final Finishes (CFF) and Landside Final Finishes (LFF), you will be responsible for:


    • Direct floor support of F-35 Production
    • Supporting CFF and LFF Integrated Performance Teams and Performance Management Teams
    • Leading the ME Team to ensure engineering designs and processes are producible
    • Leading development and maintenance of Manufacturing Plans, Manufacturing Processes, and Tools for F-35 CFF and LFF Operations
    • Supporting identification and implementation of process changes necessary to enable full rate production
    • Engaging with engineering leaders and technical experts to develop technical solutions to support Production needs
    • Leading ME / CA team to determine Root Cause and implement Corrective Actions to drive improvement in Production Quality
    • Managing ME / CA execution of Integrated Corrective Action and support of Corrective Action Teams and Boards (CART / CAB / Senior CAB)
    • Leading the ME team to develop, submit for approval, and execute Cost Reduction and Continuous Improvement Initiatives
    • Developing budget forecasts and managing cost and schedule performance of the team
    • Managing staff, personnel actions, annual performance appraisals, personnel recognition, and career development Some weekend and overtime support is required

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Previous experience leading teams &/or management experience.
    • Project management experience.

    Desired Skills:

    • 5+ years of Production Engineering, Design Engineering, Corrective action, or Production Operations experience.
    • Knowledgeable of Lockheed Martin Aero designs, manufacturing plans, tooling, planning, capital funding processes, and corrective action processes and systems
    • Demonstrated positive employee engagement with utilization of Culture of Accountability (COA) principles.
    • Complex problem solving skills through ingenuity and innovation
    • Low observable material and process experience.
    • Experience executing and managing cost reduction and continuous improvements projects
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
    • Good oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at the Lockheed Martin executive and customer level.
    • Able to effectively communicate the need for change and motivate teams to drive improvements to meet organizational goals.

    Ability to Work Remotely:
    Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

    Work Schedules:
    Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees
    Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed

    These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
