Job description
Responsibilities:
Pick up and deliver customer trucks ,trailers ,and other types of vehicles. Occasional parts runs.
- Safely and efficiently operate a variety of vehicles, including tractor-trailers, box trucks, and vans
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in proper working condition
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating company vehicles
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other relevant information
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred
- Experience with warehouse operations, including loading and unloading goods
- Familiarity with route driving and navigating using GPS or maps
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers
Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely operate various types of vehicles, including tractor-trailers, box trucks, and vans
- Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations pertaining to commercial driving
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery schedules
- Physical stamina to load and unload goods and materials as required
