    Role Summary:

    Kickstart your journey in the tech world as our Level 1 Technician. This role is your opportunity to delve into cybersecurity and IT support, providing first-line helpdesk and onsite support.     Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide prompt and efficient response to client support tickets, addressing basic technical issues.
    • Conduct onsite setups and maintenance, ensuring hardware and software configurations meet our security standards.
    • Facilitate the smooth operation of client networks, including setups, security checks, and regular maintenance.
    • Collaborate with our team on various projects, demonstrating a strong work ethic and team spirit.
    • Maintain accurate records of all client interactions, troubleshooting, and solutions provided.

    Requirements

    Job Requirements
    • Reliable transportation for local travel to client sites.
    • Clean criminal background and good driving record.
    • Consent to undergo a credit check and provide 3 professional or personal references.
    • Strong foundational knowledge in IT and willingness to learn.
    • Exceptional integrity, work ethic, and the ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team.
    • Candidate must be able to satisfy knowledge check outlined in Prerequisites section.
    Prerequisites
    • Understands on-premise local domain concepts including Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS
    • Understands basic networking concepts including firewalls or routers, WiFi management, CIDR notation and general subnetting.
    • Understands concepts of email servers like Microsoft365 and DNS records associated including MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC
    Desired Skills:
    • Basic technical proficiency with computer systems, networks, and cybersecurity principles.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to excellent customer service.
    • Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow within the cybersecurity field.
    • Microsoft365 fundamentals or similar technical certifications.

    Compensation and Benefits:
    • Salary Range: $37,000 - $42,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
