General Function

The Corporate Regional Registered Dietitian role at Hy-Vee is a dynamic position overseeing the nutritional needs of multiple store locations. This role focuses on providing personalized care through nutrition counseling for various health conditions and conducting health screenings such as biometric, hemoglobin A1C, Omega-3 Index, and Vitamin D screenings. Responsibilities also include group presentations, personalized shopping assistance, and media representation.

Reports to: Assistant Vice President, Dietitian Services

Direct Reports: None

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Provide efficient and friendly customer service, focusing on individualized nutrition counseling.
• Business Management: Implement strategies for business growth and enhance customer referral rates.
• Health Screenings: Conduct health screenings to address customers' health needs.
• Group Presentations and Classes: Organize and conduct educational sessions for a wider audience.
• Product Knowledge: Stay informed about food products and provide personalized shopping assistance.
• Media Representation: Represent the company in various media outlets.
• Adhere to Company and Registration Policies: Maintain compliance with company and industry policies.
• Scheduled Work Time: Ensure punctuality and professionalism.

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in other store areas as needed.
• Perform additional job-related duties and projects as required.
• Maintain company-provided equipment.
