    Description

    The Opportunity:

    Consor is currently looking for a highly motivated Professional Engineer for our H&H group in our West Jordan, Utah office. This position requires thorough knowledge of stormwater drainage design and H&H modeling and analysis. Responsible for planning and conducting independent work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures and criteria. Devise new approaches to unique problems, and prepare or modify drawings, specifications, calculations, and monitor work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices and company standards.

    Salary Range $81,000-103,000 for candidates with a PE

    Salary Range $72,000-88,000 for candidates with an EIT

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
    • Review project design and reports
    • Perform H&H analysis calculations using governing codes and standards, engineering formulas, skills, and experience
    • Assist with project management and scheduling
    • Prepare technical memorandums and reports
    • Prepare construction plans and specifications
    • Develop probable construction cost estimates for projects
    • Observe construction and coordinate with contractors
    • Coordinate work with other disciplines such as roadway, geotechnical, structures, etc
    • Handle routine contract administration
    Required Credentials:
    • 4+ years experience in civil engineering
    • PE License in UT or ability to obtain in 6 months
    • Experience with computer applications such as MicroStation, Civil 3D,ArcGIS Pro, HEC-RAS 2D, SRH2D, and/or SWMM applications
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
    • Ability to plan, schedule work and complete work assignments within established budgets and timelines
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Good oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to positively and effectively interact with people in all levels of organizations
    • Sound ethical character
    • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, from an accredited college/university
    • Previous experience working on UDOT projects is a plus
