    Job Responsibilities:

    Troubleshoot, resolve and document customer reported network issues via phone and/or e-mailProvide configuration recommendation and assistance in customer service deploymentRecreate reported issues in lab with customers configuration and topologyWork with QA and develop engineering teams to investigate and resolve software and hardware defectsPerform patch qualification related tasksResponsible for analyzing data traces using protocol analyzers to identify anomalies and find solutionsEnsure customers reported issues are resolved to the client's satisfaction in a timely mannerQualifications:5+ years of working experience in the data networking industryExcellent verbal and written communication and organization skillsBS in a computer related field or equivalent work experienceExcellent knowledge and experience troubleshooting Layer-2/3 protocols (VLANs, VRRP, OSPF, BGP, ISIS, IPv4/6, ARP, RIP, NAT), Layer-4 protocols (TCP, UDP, NAT), and Layer-7 protocols (HTTP, FTP, DNS)Must have good understanding of following protocols, HTTP, SSL, FTP, SMTP, RTSPDemonstrate ability to acquire strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsDuties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends)Deep understanding of network designs and operationsAbility to articulate complex technical designs with ease to stakeholdersAbility to work independently and troubleshoot problems with speed and efficiencyAbility to self-motivate and manage/prioritize competing tasksA10 Networks is an equal opportunity employer and a VEVRAA federal subcontractor.
