    ICON National is seeking a Project Engineer to join our team. The candidate must have excellent time management skills, be able to multi-task, and communicate effectively. This position is ideal for someone who is dependable and detail-oriented. The Project Engineer works in a hands-on, team focused environment in all aspects of projects from startup to closeout. The right candidate will help manage multiple projects simultaneously, in accordance with company policies and procedures, while displaying professional attributes that enhance the image of the company with clients, owners, architects, and subcontractors.

    Responsibilities:

    · Assist Project Managers in day-to-day tasks throughout the course of pre-construction, construction, and post-construction.

    · Assist in the preparation of pre-construction documentation for tenant meetings and subcontractor preconstruction meetings.

    · Prepare and distribute requests for information and maintain related logs and files.

    · Prepare and distribute submittals for approval, and maintain related logs and files.

    · Prepare change order requests and maintain change order files.

    · Attend meetings at project sites, as needed.

    · Record, compile, transcribe, and distribute meeting minutes.

    · Distribute project documentation to field superintendents (e.g., meeting minutes, RFIs, approved submittals) and other team members, as appropriate.

    · Assist in the project closeout process by gathering and tracking documentation as required by project ownership and other stakeholders.

    Qualifications:

    · Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite. Experience working in Vista Viewpoint and Textura a plus.

    · Ability to work on multiple projects in different phases simultaneously.

    · Must be a self-starter and be able to work both independently and in a team environment.

    · Good listening, verbal, and written communication skills.

    · Keen attention to detail and an aptitude for problem solving.

    · No previous construction experience is required. However, a general knowledge of construction principles and practices, and/or multifamily renovation experience is a plus.

    · Ability to travel out of state is required.
